DESCRIPTION

· The MC145018 is a low-power CMOS ionization smoke detector IC designed to detect smoke when used with an ionization chamber and a few external components.
· It features an internal piezoelectric horn driver to sound an alarm via an external piezoelectric transducer upon smoke detection.
· The IC is compliant with UL217 and UL268 specifications for smoke detection systems.
