DESCRIPTION

· The MC33780 is a dual DBUS master device designed for two differential DBUS buses.

· It integrates logic to interface with a standard SPI port and analog circuitry for data and power transmission over the bus, as well as data reception from remote slave devices.

· The device operates in differential mode to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and employs frequency spreading to further reduce interference by distributing energy across multiple channels.

FEATURES

· Features two independent DBUS I/Os with a common SPI interface for all operations.

· Includes an open-drain interrupt output with pull-up and supports maskable interrupts for send and receive data status.

· Equipped with automatic message CRC generation and checking, and four-stage transmit and receive buffers.

· Supports 8- to 16-bit messages with 0- to 8-bit CRC and independent frequency spreading for each channel.

· Available in Pb-free packaging, designated by the suffix code EG.
