DESCRIPTION

· The MC34933 is a dual H-Bridge driver compatible with 3.0 V logic, designed for the digital camera market.

· It supports bipolar step motors and brush DC motors, commonly used in Auto Focus control for digital camera lenses.

· Utilizes Freescale's SMARTMOS process for low-power operation, with a maximum quiescent current of 100 µA for motor drive and 400 µA for control logic.

· Operates from 2.0 V to 7.0 V using an internal charge pump, with independent control of each H-Bridge driver via MCU.

· Features a low total RDS(on) of 1.0 Ω (max. at 25 °C) and built-in shoot-through current protection.

· Offers four operation modes: forward, reverse, brake, and tri-state (high-impedance).

· Includes VCC detection circuit to extend battery life, with a maximum current of 1.0 µA when logic supply is off.

· Supports PWM control up to 200 kHz for speed/torque and current control.
