DESCRIPTION

· The MC74HC245A and MC74HCT245A are octal 3-state noninverting bus transceivers designed for high-performance silicon-gate CMOS applications.

· These devices facilitate 2-way asynchronous communication between data buses and feature an active-low Output Enable pin for high-impedance state control.

· The Direction control pin determines the data flow direction, either from A to B or from B to A.

· Capable of driving up to 15 LSTTL loads.

· Direct interface with CMOS, NMOS, and TTL outputs.

· Wide operating voltage range: 2.0 to 6.0 V for HC, 4.5 to 5.5 V for HCT.
