DESCRIPTION
· The MCF52259 microcontroller family is part of the ColdFire RISC microprocessor series.
· It is a 32-bit device based on the Version 2 ColdFire core, operating up to 80 MHz.
· Features include up to 512 KB flash memory and 64 KB SRAM.
· Available in 144 LQFP, 144 MAPBGA, and 100 LQFP packages.

· V2 ColdFire core with Enhanced MAC Unit and hardware divider.
· Cryptography Acceleration Unit (CAU) and Fast Ethernet controller (FEC).
· Mini-FlexBus, USBOTG, FlexCAN, and three UARTs.
· Two I2C bus interfaces and a QSPI module.
· Eight-channel 12-bit ADC and four-channel DMA controller.
· Four 32-bit timers with DMA support and a four-channel GPT.
