DESCRIPTION
· The MLX90823 is a relative pressure sensor with analog output, designed for automotive applications.
FEATURES
· Lifetime accuracy of +/-0.5% full scale.
· Ratiometric analog output with a fast response time (minimum 0.4ms).
· Integrated solution including MEMS, interface, and passive components, validated to leading OEM EMC standards.
· Operates in a temperature range from -40°C to 160°C, with short durations up to 170°C.
· Resistant to harsh media such as halogens and acids.
· AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q103-002 qualified.
· Configurable diagnostic features including internal broken connection, over voltage, and under voltage.
· Factory calibrated and fully programmable via the PTC04 programming tool for custom calibration curves.
· Extended over (+40V) and reverse (-40V) voltage capabilities for both supply and output.
· PCB-less package design with ridges for easy glued pressure seals.
· ASIL compliant, developed as an ASIL A SEooC according to ISO 26262.
