DESCRIPTION

· The MLX90825 is a relative pressure sensor with a digital SENT output, designed for automotive applications.

· It features a MEMS sensor, interface, and passive components in a single package, validated to leading OEM EMC standards.

· The sensor is factory calibrated and fully programmable via the PTC04 programming tool, allowing for customized calibration curves.

FEATURES

· Offers a lifetime accuracy of +/-0.5% full scale.

· Includes a digital SENT output and an option to output linear temperature measured by an external NTC thermistor.

· Supports a wide range of NTC characteristics without the need for calibration.

· Operates in a temperature range of -40°C to 160°C, with short durations up to 170°C.

· Resistant to harsh media such as halogens and acids.

· Qualified according to AEC-Q100 and AEC-Q103-002 standards.

· Features configurable diagnostics for output range, over voltage, and under voltage conditions.

· Capable of extended over (+40V) and reverse (-40V) voltage on supply and output.

· Designed for easy use with a PCB-less package that includes ridges for glued pressure seals.
