DESCRIPTION

· The NCP1081 is a high-power PoE-PD interface and DC-DC converter controller from ON Semiconductor, supporting IEEE802.3af and 802.3at standards.

· It integrates a PoE-PD interface and a configurable DC-DC controller, enabling up to 25.5W for IEEE802.3at and 40W for proprietary high-power PoE applications.

· Designed for industrial Ethernet devices, IP cameras, RFID readers, and other high-power applications, it eliminates the need for local power adapters, reducing installation and maintenance costs.

FEATURES

· Supports IEEE802.3af and 802.3at standards with two-event Layer 1 classification.

· Extended power range up to 40W with programmable classification current.

· Adjustable undervoltage lockout, inrush current limit, and operational current limit up to 1100mA.

· Over-temperature protection and industrial temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, with full operation up to 150°C junction temperature.

· Integrated 0.6Ω hot-swap pass-switch with low-loss current sense technique and vertical N-channel DMOS pass-switch for robustness.
