DESCRIPTION

· The NCT1063Y-585 is a Clock Synthesizer compliant with Intel CK505 specification for the Intel Calpella platform.
· It provides essential clocks for high-speed microprocessors, integrating regulators and series terminated resistors.
· Features an SMbus serial interface for register programming to manage clock outputs and includes spread spectrum capabilities to reduce EMI.
· Operates with a 14.318 MHz reference crystal and a single 3.3V supply.

FEATURES

· Includes 2 pairs of push-pull differential clock outputs for CPU and 1 pair each for DOT_96, SRC/SATA, and SRC.
· Offers amplitude control for differential clocks and supports spread spectrum on one of the 27MHz outputs.
· Provides a 14.318MHz REF clock output and features an SMbus 2-wire serial interface supporting byte and block read/write operations.
· Programmable features include spread spectrum type, S.S.T. scale, clock output enable/disable, and slew rate control.
· Packaged in a QFN32 halogen-free (Green) package.
