DESCRIPTION

· The MK1491-09 is a cost-effective, low-jitter, high-performance clock synthesizer designed for AMD's Geode-based computer and portable appliance applications. It utilizes patented analog PLL techniques to generate multiple output clocks from a 14.318 MHz crystal input.

· Packaged in a 28-pin SSOP (209 mil body), Pb-free, RoHS compliant.
· Delivers essential timing for AMD Geode companion chip.
· Offers four selectable PCI clocks, three LPC interface clocks, and one fixed 66 MHz clock.
· Supports 48 MHz USB and IO, includes two reference clocks.
· Features power down mode and low EMI enable pin to reduce radiation on PCI, LPC, and 66 MHz clocks.
· Operates at 3.3 V ±5%, with a down spread of 0.5% for PCI, LPC, and 66 MHz clocks.
