DESCRIPTION

· The NCV70514 is a micro-stepping stepper motor driver for bipolar stepper motors, connected via I/O pins and SPI interface with an external microcontroller.

· It includes a current-translation table and determines the next micro-step based on the clock signal and direction register or input pin.

· The chip provides error messages for stall, electrical error, under-voltage, or elevated junction temperature, using a proprietary PWM algorithm for reliable current control.

· It is compatible with automotive voltage requirements and suitable for various environments including automotive, industrial, medical, and marine.
