DESCRIPTION

· The R1294L is a DC/DC converter IC optimized for TFT LCD displays.

· It includes one PWM step-up DC/DC converter controller and two diode charge-pump controllers.

· The charge-pumps manage a boost output and a negative output with external resistors for voltage regulation.

· Power-on sequence is configurable with external capacitors for each charge-pump channel.

FEATURES

· Input Voltage Range: 2.0 V to 5.5 V (6.5 V max) for R1294L101A, 2.5 V to 5.5 V (6.5 V max) for R1294L102A, 3.3 V to 5.5 V (6.5 V max) for R1294L103A.

· Temperature coefficients for VFB, VREF, and CPPFB are typically ±150 ppm/°C.

· Built-in 2 A Nch-switch with RON = 150 mΩ.

· Adjustable VOUT up to 20 V, phase compensation, max duty, and soft-start time.

· Oscillator frequency adjustable from 210 kHz to 1400 kHz.

· Charge-pump output voltage and turn-on sequence adjustable.

· UVLO with selectable thresholds, VREF typically 1.2 V, short protection with timer latch function.

· Shutdown all outputs if any output is shorted to GND, standby function via CE pin.

· Packaged in a thin 24-pin QFN0404-24B.
