DESCRIPTION

· The TL431A, B series are three-terminal programmable shunt regulator diodes.

· They function as low temperature coefficient zeners, programmable from Vref to 36V with external resistors.

· Suitable for replacing zener diodes in applications like digital voltmeters, power supplies, and op-amp circuits.

· Can be used as both positive and negative voltage references due to their shunt regulator operation.
