DESCRIPTION
· The NXP SE97 is a temperature sensor with integrated EEPROM, designed for DDR memory modules.
· It measures temperature from -40°C to +125°C with ±1°C accuracy between +75°C and +95°C.
· Communicates via I2C-bus/SMBus and operates at 3.0 V to 3.6 V.
· Replaces Serial Presence Detect (SPD) for storing memory module and vendor information.
FEATURES
· 256 bytes of EEPROM with lower 128 bytes write-protectable.
· ΔΣ ADC updates temperature readings 10 times per second.
· Programmable registers for alarm and critical temperature settings.
· EVENT output with configurable polarity for various system integrations.
APPLICATIONS
· Mounted on DIMMs to monitor DRAM temperature, preventing overheating.
· Used in DDR3 RDIMM and RDIMM ECC modules.
