DESCRIPTION

· The Si1153-AA00/AA09/AA9x is a versatile ambient light sensor, proximity, and gesture detector featuring an I2C digital interface and programmable-event interrupt output. · It integrates dual 23-bit ADCs, a high-sensitivity array of visible and infrared photodiodes, a digital signal processor, and three LED drivers with programmable drive levels. · Designed to perform excellently across a wide dynamic range and under various light conditions, including direct sunlight, it also operates effectively under dark glass covers. · The sensor is available in compact 10-lead DFN and LGA packages, supporting a voltage range from 1.62 to 3.6 V and temperatures from -40 to +85 °C.



FEATURES

· Proximity detection capabilities range from under 1 cm to 50 cm without additional lensing, and up to 200 cm with lensing. · Equipped with up to three independent LED drivers, each configurable from 5.6 mA to 360 mA. · Features an on-die 940 nm bandpass filter to enhance performance in direct sunlight by rejecting unwanted visible and IR light. · Ambient light sensing with a resolution of less than 100 mlx and a dynamic range up to 128 klx across two ADC settings. · Offers industry-leading low power consumption with an average current of 9 μA and a standby current below 500 nA. · Includes internal and external wake support, a built-in voltage supply monitor, and a power-on reset controller.
