DESCRIPTION

· The Si3452 is a quad high-voltage port controller designed for PoE and PoE+ PSE applications.

· It supports four PSE power interfaces per controller and is suitable for managing 4 to 48 ports via an I2C interface without requiring an external MCU.

· The device integrates high-voltage components, reducing design complexity, power dissipation, and PCB footprint.

FEATURES

· Programmable current limits for PoE (15.4 W), PoE+ (30 W), and proprietary systems (up to 40 W) per port.

· Internal low-RON power FETs with current-sense circuitry and integrated transient voltage surge suppressors.

· Proprietary dV/dt disconnect sensing methods and robust multi-point detection.

· Comprehensive fault-protection circuitry including supply undervoltage lockout, output current limit, short-circuit protection, and dual-threshold thermal overload protection.

· Industrial operating temperature range from -40 to 85 °C.

· Compact, 6×6 mm², 40-pin QFN RoHS-compliant package.
