DESCRIPTION

· The Si3453 is a high-voltage port controller designed for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and PoE+ Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE).

· It supports four PSE power interfaces per controller, enabling efficient power management for multiple ports.

· The device integrates high-voltage components, reducing external BOM and PCB footprint.

· It operates in an industrial temperature range of -40 to 85 °C and comes in a compact 6×6 mm², 40-pin QFN package.

FEATURES

· Programmable current limits for PoE (15.4 W), PoE+ (30 W), and custom systems (up to 40 W).

· I2C interface for easy management of 4 to 48 ports without an external MCU.

· Internal low-RON power FETs with current-sense circuitry and integrated transient voltage surge suppressors.

· Supports IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) standards with programmable current limits up to 850 mA.
