DESCRIPTION

· The Si5348 is a compact, low-power network synchronizer clock with exceptional frequency synthesis flexibility and ultra-low jitter.
· It features three independent DSPLLs, configurable as SyncE PLL, IEEE 1588 DCO, or general-purpose PLL.
· Suitable for wireless backhaul, IP radio, small and macro cell wireless communications, and data center switches.
· Supports legacy SETS systems with Stratum 3/3E compliance and offers precise timing adjustment for 1588 clock steering applications.
· Programmable via serial interface with in-circuit programmable non-volatile memory, ensuring a known configuration at power-up.

FEATURES

· Ultra-low jitter of 95 fs and enhanced hitless switching to minimize output phase transients.
· Wide input frequency range: external crystal (48-54 MHz), REF clock (5-250 MHz), differential clock (8 kHz-750 MHz), LVCMOS clock (8 kHz-250 MHz).
· Wide output frequency range: differential (1 PPS-718.5 MHz), LVCMOS (1 PPS-250 MHz).
· Meets ITU-T G.8262, G.812, G.813, Telcordia GR-1244, and GR-253 standards.
