DESCRIPTION

· The Si720x family from Silicon Labs is a series of Hall effect magnetic position sensors that integrate a chopper-stabilized Hall element, low-noise analog amplifier, 13-bit ADC, and flexible comparator circuit.

· These sensors utilize digital signal processing for precise temperature and offset drift compensation, offering high sensitivity suitable for larger air gaps and smaller magnets.

· Available in 3-pin SOT23, 5-pin SOT23, and TO-92 packages, they feature low power consumption, making them ideal for battery-powered applications.

FEATURES

· High-sensitivity Hall effect sensor with a maximum operating point of <1.1 mT.

· Omnipolar or unipolar operation with integrated DSP for temperature and offset drift compensation.

· Low current consumption of 400 nA at 5 samples per second.

· Selectable sensitivity, hysteresis, output polarity, and sample rate with sensitivity drift < ±3% over temperature.

· Wide power supply voltage range from 1.71 to 5.5 V and 3.3 to 26.5 V.

· Industry-standard packaging options include SOT-23 (3 or 5 pin) and TO-92 (3-pin).
