DESCRIPTION

· The Si824x isolated driver family integrates two isolated drivers in a single package, designed for high-power audio applications.

· It supports peak output currents of 0.5 A (Si8241) and 4.0 A (Si8244) with a maximum supply voltage of 24 V.

· Features proprietary isolation technology for signal level translation and bipolar supply voltage up to ±750 V.

· Includes an integrated dead-time generator for precise control to optimize THD and overlap protection to prevent shoot-through current damage.

· CMOS-based design ensures immunity from latch-up and high-voltage transients, with low propagation delays for faster modulation frequencies.
