DESCRIPTION

· The Si85xx series are unidirectional AC current sensors with full-scale ranges of 5, 10, and 20 A.

· Designed to upgrade older current-sensing technologies, they offer size, performance, and cost advantages.

· Features extremely low loss with less than 1.3 mΩ series resistance and less than 2 nH series inductance at 25°C.

· Provides up to 5 kV RMS isolation level, ensuring safety and reliability.

FEATURES

· Single-chip AC current sensor with low loss characteristics.

· Leading-edge noise suppression eliminates the need for leading-edge blanking.

· "Ping-Pong" output version allows one Si85xx to replace two current transformers in full-bridge designs.

· Available in 5, 10, and 20 A full-scale versions with ±5% initial accuracy.

· Operates within a 50 kHz to 1 MHz input frequency range and offers a large 2 VPP min output at full scale.

· Suitable for high-side or low-side current sensing in a compact 4x4x1 mm QFN package or 20-pin wide-body SOIC.

· UL/VDE/CSA approved with an operating range of -40 to 125°C.
