- Other Precautions:Ensure no flux on the switch terminals and PCB before soldering.Do not clean the switch with solvents after soldering.Recommended cream solder: M705-GRN360-K2 (SENJU METAL INDUSTRY CO., LTD) or equivalent.Avoid locating through holes adjacent to the switch mounted area.Ensure the right reflow soldering conditions before use.Perform reflow soldering within the recommended conditions to avoid deteriorating the click rate.Protect the switch assembly against flux penetration from its top side.Cream solder thickness: 0.15 mm.
Precautions in Use
- General:Designed for general electronic devices. For more sophisticated equipment, verify suitability or consult with the manufacturer.Designed for use with direct current resistance. Consult for other types of resistance (inductive or capacitive).
- Soldering and Assembly:Avoid applying load to terminals during soldering to prevent deformation and electrical defects.Confirm soldering conditions under actual production conditions.Handle with care to avoid stress on the stem.Avoid placing the switch at the edge of the PCB to prevent flux penetration.Perform reflow soldering within recommended conditions to avoid deteriorating the click rate.
- Washing Process:Do not clean the switch with solvents after soldering.
- Mechanism Design:Refer to the recommended dimensions in the engineering drawings for mounting holes and patterns.Avoid dip-soldering chip components on the backside of the PCB after reflow soldering.Avoid applying stress to the stem from the side.Press the center of the stem to ensure consistent click feel.Avoid using the switch for mechanical detection functions.Do not apply stress beyond the specified limits.Consult with the manufacturer if changing the switch's usage method.
- Using Environment:The switch is not sealed and may fail due to dust ingress. Take precautions against dust.Avoid using in environments with sulfide gas or exhaust fumes.Avoid using rubber materials, adhesives, or lubricants that generate sulfurization or oxidation gases.Avoid using in high humidity or dewing environments.
- Storage Method:Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and corrosive gases.Use within six months of delivery.Store remaining switches in a plastic bag after breaking the seal
