DESCRIPTION

· The Supertex SR037 is an inductorless, dual output off-line controller.

· It provides up to 1.0W of output power without transformers, inductors, or high voltage input capacitors.

· Operates from an unfiltered full wave rectified 120V or 230V AC line.

· Controls an external N-channel MOSFET or IGBT.

· Generates an unregulated DC voltage (~18V) and a regulated 5.0V output.

· Maximum gate voltage for the external transistor is 24V.

· No galvanic isolation; dangerous voltages are present when connected to the AC line.

· Accepts peak input voltages up to 700V.
