DESCRIPTION



· The TC74VHC574 is a high-speed CMOS octal D-type flip-flop with 3-state output, fabricated using silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It combines high-speed operation similar to Bipolar Schottky TTL with low power dissipation of CMOS.

· Controlled by a clock input (CK) and an output enable input (OE), it ensures high impedance state when OE is high.

· Features an input protection circuit allowing 0 to 5.5 V input regardless of supply voltage.

· Suitable for interfacing 5 V to 3 V systems and battery backup applications.



FEATURES



· High-speed operation: f_max = 180 MHz (typ.) at V_CC = 5 V.

· Low power dissipation: I_CC = 4 µA (max) at T_a = 25°C.

· High noise immunity: V_NIH = V_NIL = 28% V_CC (min).

· Power-down protection on all inputs.

· Balanced propagation delays: t_pLH ∼ t_pHL.

· Wide operating voltage range: V_CC (opr) = 2 to 5.5 V.

· Low noise: V_OLP = 1.2 V (max).

· Pin and function compatible with 74ALS574.
