DESCRIPTION

· The TL431 and TL432 are three-terminal adjustable shunt regulators with thermal stability across automotive, commercial, and military temperature ranges.

· Output voltage is adjustable from Vref (~2.5V) to 36V using two external resistors.

· They feature a typical output impedance of 0.2 Ω and sharp turn-on characteristics, making them suitable replacements for Zener diodes.

· TL432 has the same functionality and electrical specs as TL431 but different pinouts for DBV, DBZ, and PK packages.

· Available in three grades with initial tolerances of 0.5% (B), 1% (A), and 2% (Standard) at 25°C.

· Temperature drift is low, ensuring stability across the operating range: TL43xxC (0°C to 70°C), TL43xxI (-40°C to 85°C), TL43xxQ (-40°C to 125°C).
