DESCRIPTION



· The TSA7887 is a 2-channel, high-speed, micropower, 12-bit ADC, serving as an alternate source for the AD7887.

· Operates from a single +2.7V to +5.25V power supply with a throughput rate of 125-ksps using an external 2MHz serial clock.

· Features a wideband input track-and-hold that acquires signals in 500ns and supports single-ended sampling.

· Includes an integrated 2.5V reference, with the option to override using an external reference via the VREF pin.

· Supports one or two analog inputs, with ranges from 0 to VREF or 0V to VDD in two-channel operation.

· Designed for low power consumption, typically 2mW during normal operation and 3μW in power-down mode.

· Fully specified for operation from -40ºC to +125ºC, available in 8-pin SOIC and MSOP packages.



FEATURES



· Alternate source for AD7887 with single-supply operation from +2.7V to +5.25V.

· INL: ±1LSB for TSA7887B and ±2LSBs for TSA7887A.

· One or two single-ended analog inputs with internal wide-bandwidth track-and-hold.

· Internal +2.5V reference and flexible power/throughput-rate management.

· Low supply current: 0.85mA at 125ksps (Internal VREF ON) and 0.7mA at 125ksps (Internal VREF OFF).

· Shutdown-mode supply current: 1 μA (max).

· Compatible with SPI®/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™/DSP serial interfaces.

· Operating temperature range: -40ºC to +125ºC, available in 8-pin SOIC and MSOP packaging.
