DESCRIPTION
· The UCx84xA family is an enhanced version of the UCx84x series, designed for current-mode or switched-mode power supply control.
· Features include a startup current below 0.5mA, trimmed oscillator discharge at 8.3mA, and an output stage capable of sinking at least 10mA during UVLO for VCC over 5V.
FEATURES
· Optimized for off-line and DC-DC converters with a low start-up current (<0.5mA).
· Includes trimmed oscillator discharge current, automatic feedforward compensation, and pulse-by-pulse current limiting.
· Enhanced load response, undervoltage lockout with hysteresis, and double pulse suppression.
· High-current totem pole output and internally-trimmed bandgap reference, operable up to 500kHz.
· Supports custom designs using the WEBENCH® Power Designer.
APPLICATIONS
· Suitable for switch mode power supplies (SMPS), DC-DC converters, and power modules.
· Ideal for industrial PSUs and battery-operated PSUs.
