DESCRIPTION

· The UC3879 is a phase shift resonant controller designed to manage a bridge power stage by phase shifting the switching of one half-bridge relative to the other.

· It enables constant frequency pulse width modulation combined with resonant, zero-voltage switching to achieve high efficiency.

· The device supports both voltage mode and current mode operations, including overcurrent shutdown for rapid fault protection.

· Programmable output turn-on delay with zero delay option.

· Compatible with both voltage mode and current mode topologies.

· Operates at switching frequencies up to 300 kHz.

· Features a 10-MHz error amplifier and pin-programmable undervoltage lockout.
