DESCRIPTION
· The UCC35701/UCC35702 family is designed for primary-side controlled isolated switching power supplies.
· Suitable for off-line applications and DC/DC converters in distributed power systems or telecom power sources.
· Features low startup current and efficient off-line starting, with output drive capable of switching power MOSFETs above 500kHz.
· Includes voltage feed-forward compensation, accurate volt-second clamp, and maximum duty cycle limit.
· Provides fault protection with pulse-by-pulse current limiting and latch-off after a programmable number of faults.
· Available in 14-pin SOIC (D), PDIP (N), TSSOP (PW), and CDIP (J) packages.
FEATURES
· Operates up to 700kHz with an integrated oscillator.
· Voltage feed-forward compensation for fast response to input voltage changes.
· Accurate duty cycle limit and volt-second clamp.
· Optocoupler interface and fault counting shutdown.
· Fault latch-off or automatic shutdown and soft stop functionality.
· Optimized for synchronous rectification with 1A peak gate drive output.
· Low startup and operating currents of 130µA and 750µA, respectively.
