DESCRIPTION

· The 74LVC161 is a synchronous presettable 4-bit binary counter with an internal look-ahead carry.

· It features synchronous operation with all flip-flops clocked on the positive edge of the clock (CP).

· Outputs (Q0 to Q3) can be preset HIGH or LOW via the parallel enable input (PE).

· An asynchronous reset (MR) clears all outputs regardless of other input states.

· The counter supports serial cascading through the look-ahead carry and terminal count output (TC).
