The ADP3336 is a high-precision low dropout anyCAP voltage regulator that can provide up to 500 mA of continuous load current with an input voltage range of 2.6 V to 12 V. It boasts the lowest thermal resistance in an MSOP-8 package and delivers outstanding performance thanks to its patented design, needing just a 1.0 µF output capacitor for stability. The device is insensitive to output capacitor Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) and remains stable with any good quality capacitor, including ceramic (MLCC) types. The ADP3336 offers high accuracy and includes safety features such as current limit, thermal overload protection, and a shutdown feature.
