Setting the Bandwidth

A minimum capacitance of 2000 pF is required for CX and CY.

Self-Test Feature

The ST pin allows for self-testing of the accelerometer. Setting the ST pin to VS exerts an electrostatic force on the beam, resulting in a typical output change of 750 mV, indicating the accelerometer is functional.

Power Supply Decoupling

For most applications, a single 0.1 µF capacitor (CDC) is sufficient for decoupling the accelerometer from power supply noise. Additional decoupling may be necessary in noisy environments.

Using the ADXL203CE as a Tilt Sensor

The ADXL203CE can be used as a dual-axis tilt sensor by orienting the X and Y axes parallel to the earth's surface. The tilt angles can be calculated using the following formulas:
