DESCRIPTION

· The AMT49107 is an N-channel power MOSFET driver designed for automotive applications, particularly for controlling MOSFETs in a 3-phase bridge arrangement to drive high-power inductive loads like BLDC motors.

· It features a unique charge pump regulator that ensures operation down to 4.5 V, with programmable gate drive strength to mitigate EMC issues.

· The device includes a bootstrap capacitor for above-battery supply voltage and offers full control over all six MOSFETs in the bridge, supporting both block commutation and sinusoidal excitation.

· Integrated diagnostics and safety features, including shoot-through protection and fault indication, enhance reliability in safety-critical systems.



FEATURES

· 3-phase bridge MOSFET driver with bootstrap gate drive for N-channel MOSFETs.

· Cross-conduction protection with adjustable dead time and a charge pump for low supply voltage operation.

· Operates at any PWM duty cycle up to 100%, with a supply voltage range of 4.5 to 50 V.

· SPI-compatible serial interface for programmable settings and diagnostic readback.

· Extensive programmable diagnostics and safety-assist features, including diagnostic verification.

· Automotive AEC-Q100 qualified and developed in accordance with ISO 26262 for ASIL D capability.
