Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The TPS28xx series are single-channel high-speed MOSFET drivers designed for high-performance applications.

· Capable of delivering peak currents up to 2 A into highly capacitive loads.

· Features BiCMOS outputs for high switching speeds, typically 14 ns for rise and fall times.

· Includes a regulator on certain models (TPS2816-TPS2819) allowing operation with supply inputs from 14 V to 40 V.

· Available in a 5-pin SOT-23 package, operating over an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 125°C.



FEATURES

· High-speed operation with 25-ns max rise/fall times and 40-ns max propagation delay.

· Low quiescent current, max 15 µA for TPS2828 and TPS2829.

· Driver supply voltage ranges from 4 V to 14 V, extendable to 40 V with internal regulator.

· Highly resistant to latch-ups, ensuring reliable operation.

· Active pullup circuit in TPS2816 and TPS2817 eliminates the need for external resistors when used with open-collector PWM controllers.
