DESCRIPTION

· The DS1081L is a spread-spectrum clock modulator IC designed to reduce EMI in high clock-frequency digital electronic equipment.
· It uses an integrated PLL to accept an input clock signal ranging from 20MHz to 134MHz and delivers a spread-spectrum modulated output clock signal.
· The PLL modulates the output clock about the center input frequency with selectable magnitude and dither rate, allowing direct EMI control and optimization.
· The device includes an enable pin to enable or disable dithering and can three-state the output.
· It operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and is available in an 8-pin TSSOP package.
