DESCRIPTION

· The Avago HEDR-5xxx series encoders are high-resolution replacements for the HEDS-5xxx series, offering 1200 to 3600 CPR.
· Designed for easy assembly, these encoders are compatible with the legacy HEDS-5xxx series base-plate and outer diameter.
· Each encoder includes a codewheel, LED source, detector, and integrated circuitry, generating quadrature square waves and an index pulse per rotation.
· Suitable for shaft diameters of 2 mm to 8 mm and high-temperature environments up to 100 °C.

· Three-channel encoder with A, B, and I signals.
· Available with ribbon cabling and a single 5 V supply.
· Resolution options from 1200 to 3600 CPR.
· TTL compatible and line driver options.
· Quick assembly with an IP40 rating and no signal adjustment required.
