DESCRIPTION

· The LC74900 is a highly integrated multi-purpose LCD panel controller capable of processing both analog and digital video signals, supporting resolutions up to WVGA.

· It includes an A/D converter, video decoder, de-interlacer/scaler, and picture improvement features.

FEATURES

· Video Input/Output: Supports 4ch CVBS analog input with a 10bit A/D converter, and 24bit RGB, 16bit YCbCr, and 8bit YC digital inputs.

· YC Separation Video Decoder: Features an adaptive 3-line comb filter with automatic gain and chrominance control.

· De-interlacer and Scaler: Programmable horizontal and vertical scaling, supporting up to WVGA resolutions.

· Picture Improvements: Includes CDEX for high-quality low-resolution graphics, dynamic gamma correction, sharpness control, and color exciter.

· Panel Interface: Offers 24bit and 18bit RGB output with dithering, PWM for LED backlight control, and timing controller for LCD drivers.
