Overview

DESCRIPTION

· The LM75A is a temperature-to-digital converter utilizing an on-chip band gap temperature sensor and Sigma-delta A-to-D conversion technique.
· It features an overtemperature detection output and includes data registers for configuration, temperature, and set-points.
· The device communicates via a 2-wire I2C-bus interface and supports up to eight devices on the same bus with selectable logic address pins.
· It operates in normal or shutdown mode, with programmable OS output modes and active states.
· The temperature register provides an 11-bit 2's complement data with a resolution of 0.125°C.



FEATURES

· Pin-for-pin replacement for the industry standard LM75 with enhanced temperature resolution.
· Available in small 8-pin packages: SO8 and TSSOP8.
· I2C-bus interface supports up to 8 devices on the same bus.
· Operates within a power supply range of 2.8 V to 5.5 V.
· Temperature measurement range from -55°C to +125°C.
· Features an 11-bit ADC offering a temperature resolution of 0.125°C.
