DESCRIPTION

· The LP8725 is a multifunctional programmable Power Management Unit (PMU) optimized for subblock power solutions.
· It integrates two efficient 600-mA step-down DC-DC converters, configurable up to 800-mA load with Dynamic Voltage Scaling (DVS) via a serial interface.
· Includes two low-noise analog LDOs, three digital LDOs for up to 300-mA load current each, and two Low-Input Low-Output (LILO) regulators.
· Features an I2C-compatible serial interface for host controller access to internal control registers and programmable power-on sequencing.

FEATURES

· Two high-efficiency step-down DC-DC converters with a 4-MHz switching frequency, using small 1-µH inductors.
· Three digital LDOs each capable of up to 300-mA load current.
· Two low-noise analog 300-mA LDOs with 10μVrms output noise.
· Two Low-Input Low-Output regulators with 300-mA output.
· Available in a 30-bump DSBGA package with a 0.5mm pitch.
