DESCRIPTION

· The LTC2970 is a dual power supply monitor and margining controller with an SMBus compatible I2C bus interface.

· It features a low-drift, on-chip reference and a 14-bit ΔΣ A/D converter for precise measurements of supply voltages, load currents, or internal die temperature.

· The device includes fault management for configurable overvoltage and undervoltage conditions, and two voltage-buffered, 8-bit IDACs for accurate programming of DC/DC converter output voltages.

· The LTC2970-1 adds a tracking feature for controlled power supply sequencing.

· The device is available in a 24-pin, 4mm × 5mm QFN package.
