DESCRIPTION

· The LTC2978A is an 8-channel Power System Manager designed for sequencing, trimming, margining, supervising, managing faults, providing telemetry, and creating fault logs.

· It supports PMBus commands for power supply sequencing, precision voltage adjustment, and margining.

· Features include overvoltage and undervoltage threshold limits, over and under temperature limits, and programmable fault responses.

· It includes an internal 16-bit ADC for monitoring output voltages, input voltage, and die temperature.

· The device can operate autonomously without additional software, supported by configuration EEPROM.
