DESCRIPTION

· The M74HC4543 is a high-speed CMOS BCD-to-7 segment decoder with LCD driver, utilizing silicon gate C2MOS technology.

· It includes a BCD input latch and a 7-segment driver for LCDs, blanking the display on illegal BCD input or high BI input.

· Requires a common square wave signal for LCD driving and additional drivers for other readouts like LEDs.

· Features protection circuits against static discharge and transient excess voltage on all inputs.
