DESCRIPTION

· The MAX6365–MAX6368 are supervisory circuits designed for power-supply monitoring, battery-backup control, and memory write protection in microprocessor systems.

· They provide reset outputs during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions, and control VCC to backup-battery switching for maintaining data or low-power operation.

· These devices offer memory write protection and include options such as manual reset input, watchdog timer, battery-on output, or auxiliary reset input.

· They operate from VCC supply voltages as low as 1.2V and are available in miniature 8-pin SOT23 packages.

FEATURES

· Low operating supply voltage of +1.2V (VCC or VBATT).

· Precision monitoring of +5.0V, +3.3V, +3.0V, and +2.5V power-supply voltages.

· On-board gating of chip-enable signals with 1.5ns propagation delay.

· Debounced manual reset input (MAX6365), watchdog timer with 1.6s timeout (MAX6366), battery-on output indicator (MAX6367), and auxiliary user-adjustable RESET IN (MAX6368).

· Low quiescent supply current of 10 µA and three available output structures: push-pull RESET, open-drain RESET, and open-drain RESET.

· RESET/RESET valid down to 1.2V guaranteed (VCC or VBATT), power-supply transient immunity, and 150ms min reset timeout period.
