DESCRIPTION

· The MCH/K12140 is a phase-frequency detector designed for phase-locked loop applications requiring minimal phase and frequency difference at lock.

· It is functionally compatible with the MC12040 phase-frequency detector, extending the maximum frequency to 800 MHz.

· The device is packaged in an 8-lead SOIC package and is available in two versions for compatibility with MECL 10H and 100K ECL logic levels.

· It can also be used in +5.0 V systems.

· Typical bandwidth of 800 MHz.

· Small outline 8-lead SOIC package.

· Internal input pulldown resistors of 75 kΩ.

· ESD protection exceeding 1000 V.
