DESCRIPTION

· MP5505 is a high-efficiency energy storage and management unit for solid-state and hard-disk drive applications.

· It features integrated input-current limit and energy storage/release management for compact system solutions.

· The device includes dv/dt control to prevent inrush current during startup and a programmable bus voltage slew rate.

· It supports Power-On-Reset for hot-swapping and minimizes storage capacitor requirements with patented control circuits.

· The storage and release voltages are programmable, and it requires minimal external components.

· Available in a 20-pin QFN (3mm×4mm) package.

· Integrated 60mΩ MOSFET input current limiter with up to 4.5A limit.

· Reverse current protection and 6V bus clamping voltage.
