DESCRIPTION

· MP5505 is a highly-integrated energy storage and management unit designed for solid-state and hard-disk drive applications.

· It features input-current limit and energy storage/release management, ensuring a compact system solution.

· The device includes an internal input-current limit block with dv/dt control to prevent inrush current during startup.

· It offers programmable bus voltage start-up slew rate and Power-On-Reset functionality for hot-swapping.

· The patented energy storage and release management circuit reduces the need for large storage capacitors.

· It boosts the input voltage to a higher storage voltage and releases energy during input outages.

· The storage and release voltages are programmable, and the device requires minimal external components.

· Available in a 20-pin QFN (3mm×4mm) package.
