DESCRIPTION

· NCP367 is a charge path protection device designed for battery charging systems.

· It disconnects the system from its output pin when incorrect charging conditions are detected.

· The device offers positive overvoltage protection up to +30 V.

· It features a very low current consumption, making it compatible with USB charging.

· The internal PMOS FET eliminates the need for external components, reducing system cost and PCB area.

· It provides overcurrent protection with an externally selectable current limit.

· The device continuously monitors Li-ion battery voltage for enhanced safety.

· It includes thermal shutdown protection and a FLAG output to indicate fault conditions.
