DESCRIPTION

· The PDI1284P11 is a 3.3 V parallel interface transceiver/buffer designed for asynchronous, 8-bit, bidirectional parallel communication in personal computers.

· It supports all 19 signal lines defined by the IEEE 1284 interface specification, including Byte, Nibble, EPP, and ECP modes.

· It facilitates data transmission between 3.3 V and 5.0 V devices, with eight transceiver pairs enabling bidirectional communication based on the DIR pin state.

· The B-bus and Y9 to Y13 lines feature totem pole or resistor pull-up outputs, while the A-bus has totem pole outputs only.

· All inputs are TTL compatible with at least 400 mV of input hysteresis at V_CC = 3.3 V.
