DESCRIPTION

· The Si720x family from Silicon Labs is a series of Hall effect magnetic sensors designed for precise position sensing. These sensors integrate a chopper-stabilized Hall element, a low-noise analog amplifier, a 13-bit ADC, and a flexible comparator circuit. They utilize digital signal processing to compensate for temperature and offset drift, offering high sensitivity suitable for use with larger air gaps and smaller magnets. Available in 3-pin SOT23, 5-pin SOT23, and TO-92 packages, they feature low power consumption, making them ideal for battery-powered applications.



FEATURES

· High-sensitivity Hall effect sensor with a maximum B OP operating point of <1.1 mT. · Omnipolar or unipolar operation options. · Integrated digital signal processing for temperature and offset drift compensation. · Low typical current consumption of 400 nA at 5 samples per second. · Selectable sensitivity, hysteresis, output polarity, and sample rate. · Sensitivity drift of < ±3% over temperature. · Wide power supply voltage range from 1.71 to 5.5 V and 3.3 to 26.5 V. · Selectable output options including open-drain and digital high/low outputs. · Available in industry-standard packages such as surface mount SOT-23 (3 or 5 pin) and through hole TO-92 (3-pin).
