DESCRIPTION

· The SN75LVDS88B is a TFT LCD panel timing controller with an integrated Flatlink interface, designed to interface between a graphic controller and a TFT LCD panel.

· It processes host data through an 18-bit LVDS bus, reformatting it into a specific data format and synchronous timing suitable for driving LCD panel column and row drivers.

· Supports XGA resolution and is configurable via several selection terminals, with default timing specifications to support mainstream gate and source drivers.

FEATURES

· Utilizes Low Power Differential Signalling (LVDS) for reduced EMI and high throughput.

· Suitable for notebook applications with a compact 100-pin TQFP package.

· Operates on low voltage CMOS 3.3-V technology and includes a 65 MHz phase-lock input.

· Tolerates 4 kV HBM ESD for LVDS pins and 2 kV HBM for others, with improved jitter tolerance.
